Find a charging point near you, check the rates and start a charging session immediately.
Register or order your ANWB Charging Card
Download the charging card app and follow the steps to register your ANWB charging card. Don't have a charging card yet? You can easily order a new charging card in the app or use a digital charging card, so you can get started straight away.
Free card or subscription
Do you opt for the free charging card? Then the card itself costs you nothing, but in addition to the charged electricity per charging session, you also pay a small starting fee. With a subscription you do not have to pay those starting costs. Instead, you pay a fixed amount per month for the pass. Interesting if you often use public charging stations.
Clear prices
The rates per kilowatt hour can vary greatly per charging point. In the app you will always find the current rate that applies to your ANWB Charging Card. Sometimes it can be worthwhile to look for a cheaper charging point, because the rates can differ between different points on the same street.
Charging in the Netherlands
The ANWB Charging Pass works at almost all charging points in the Netherlands. Only in rare cases will you find a charging point that is not connected to the ANWB network. If you want to be sure whether a charging station is within the network, you can look in the app. If it's there, the pass should work there.
Charging abroad
The coverage of the ANWB Charging Card is extensive, so you can also make good use of it abroad. It may happen that you come across a charging point where you can only pay with your bank card. Or a charging point that only works with a specific charging card from the region or the provider.
Please also note that rates abroad are often somewhat higher. Sometimes blocking rates or rates based on time also apply. Always check the rate in the app in advance to avoid surprises.
Pairing your car
Although not necessary, you can pair your car for a better app experience. If you choose to connect your car, you will receive personalized tips for charging points. NB! This does not (yet) work for all cars.
